"Looking into the heart of your work can sometimes reveal new truths." Jules
I looked closer at my subconscious.
This may sound deep, but in fact, it can just happen. Before you know it, the art speaks back. When I begin my work, I have a composition and subject in mind but soon the art takes on a story of its own! It may be reflective of my mood at the time but as the days and sometimes months pass, the work changes.
For most artists we understand this and know the frustration that comes with it. it's a bit like we don't have the control, but in the end, you own it or vice versa. You and the medium seem to share the emotion and the expression and generally you are left with a feeling of well... dare I say but love.
I guess the subconscious knows you are being real and truthful. It's a great feeling.
What is real?
We often think of nature as
being real but what happens
when our consumptions become
connected to nature and grows
as one.
That's what happens under the
sea. When our pollution lands
in the sea. The fish eat it, the
corals are covered in it and
the seagrass tangles it!
